@momo Yea, hence I said “risky af” lol. So any confirmation on who’s the scriptwriter and producer? From this article, it doesn’t sound like the original ones since it sucked so badly that Youku threated to pull funding? Youku is China Mainland based right? Isn’t C-drama heavy with romance?

A big reason I like the 1st and 2nd ones is because no romance between the 2 leads. The supporting ones were so draggy already. 2nd one couldn’t been at least 5 eps shorter if they cut back Fala / Raymond, and side “love/lust” with one Japanese “general” iirc.

1st would be just as perfect if they cut out Ron and that girl and her mom unnecessary scenes.

Anyways, more to follow I guess.
