Yea…I’m a fan of Dylan, but he really didn’t do justice for this drama. I’m putting about 80% of the blame on the director/scriptwriter because the way some of the humor is shot, and the way the characters are written, just isn’t up to par. It could’ve had potential, but lost it due to inexperience with filming comedy (a shame.) 20% due to Dylan’s diction. He sounds like he’s about to rap anytime he speaks his lines. It’s jarring and takes me out of the immersive moments.

I’m still watching because it’s wholesome for the most part and I like a daily dose of lighthearted fantasy escape. It’s enjoyable if you don’t think too hard on how it’s failing.
