There’s an excellent series (2 seasons and counting) called Strange Tales in Tang Dynasty with actors that I don’t know except the lead actor was embroiled in a huge scandal back then… that series was excellently acted, depicted, costume without the stone face female character or whatever. Not even a word on the costume where for once Tang Dynasty costumes looked natural. A must watch. This one.. I suppose is more idol series.
