Nick Cheung and Sammi Cheng’s “Temporary Family” Arrives in Theaters in August
Temporary Family <临时同居> released new character posters for the upcoming romantic comedy. Stars Nick Cheung (張家輝), Sammi Cheng (鄭秀文), Angelababy (楊穎), and Oho (歐豪) are showcased in colorful backgrounds with troubled expressions in the poster.
Temporarily Family, directed by female filmmaker Vincci Cheuk (卓韻芝), is a humorous story about four unlikely people who are forced to live together in a luxurious penthouse after their plans to sell the estate failed. Nick portrays Hong Siu Lung, a thick-skinned estate manager who purchases a large house to impress his girlfriend. Lung convinces arrogant new divorcee Charlotte (Sammi Cheng), his stepdaughter Ah Hak (Angelababy), and a wealthy Mainland heir Very Wong (Oho) to buy the property together so they can sell it at an inflated market price.
Temporary Family is Nick and Sammi’s first major collaboration. It is also Oho’s debut film.
In addition to the character posters, Edko also released new stills that featured supporting stars Dayo Wong (黃子華) and Myolie Wu (胡杏兒). Jacky Cheung (張學友), Ivana Wong (王菀之), and Fruit Chan (陳果), will be making humorous guest appearances. Regina Ip (葉劉淑儀), a member of the Legislative council of Hong Kong, will also guest starring as herself.
Temporarily Family will open in Hong Kong on August 21 and mainland China on August 22. It will be released in Taiwan on September 12.

Looks intersting and looking forward to some good HK styled comedies. Missed those old days where Sandra Ng and Stephen Chow were the Queen of Comedies and King respectively. Even the Wong-Cheng-Ying’s vampire kind of comedy movies were really good. Some of the movies so good that I really wouldn’t mind watching it over and over again.
oh la la Nick n Sammy thats fresh onscreen couple. Myolie is in this as well as guest star.

I watched some of the preview clips that showcased scenes between Jacky and his “long lost brother” Nick and already, I was laughing so hard it gave me a stomach ache (especially the part where Nick pulls Jacky’s horrendous-looking wig off his head…the ‘pretend’ shocked expressions on both their faces were absolutely hilarious…lol). I’m looking forward to this movie already!
This movie will be good because of Nick and Sammi! Sammi excels in this genre
