Aarif Rahman Releases New English Single “Porcelain Princess’ Palace”
Focusing on his film career in recent years, it has been nearly three years since Aarif Rahman (李治廷) last released a studio album. Aarif surprised his fans with the release of his new English-language song “Porcelain Princess’ Palace” last month.
Produced and composed by Aarif, the light pop ballad was recorded in December while the 26-year-old was in London to promote his new film, One Night Surprise <一夜惊喜>, at the China International Film Festival. He wrote the song’s composition and lyrics during his free time in his hotel.
The song’s lyrics are about giving encouragement and love to the woman in his heart. Though on the surface she appears to be as strong and brave as a soldier, deep down she is like a little princess, who harbors someone to care and protect her. The song, released on Valentine’s Day, is said to be a gift for all the “female heroes.”
Amidst his hectic film schedules, Aarif took the time off between filming to shoot the music video for “Porcelain Princess’ Palace”, and heavily participated in the music video’s creative direction. He spent an entire restless morning to shoot the music video.
Aarif announced that “Porcelain Princess’ Palace” is the first single released from his upcoming EP, which will be released in March.

Why would Aarif accept supporting role at TVB when he’s getting male lead roles in movies and even won the best movie newcomer award with his first movie? At the very least if TVB wants to collaborate they should offer him a male lead role!

thats because he hasnt release new albums so obviously he cant attend music award shows. However, his popularity actually high in china. He attends every big movie event weather its in Hong kong or china. After one night surprise, he his popularity and value eve soar higher because of th pariing with fan bing bing.
