As One Member, Oli, Undergoes Surgery for Uterine Fibroid

Oli, a member of the Hong Kong girl band As One, has taken an indefinite hiatus from the group after it was revealed that she has developed uterine fibroid tumors.

For the past few weeks, the four-member group As One attended promotional functions without Oli present. The members expressed that Oli is currently unwell and are unsure when 19 year old will return to the group.

“Oli is sick so she currently needs her rest. We hope she will be able to return to the group soon,” said Nata. Elfa added, “We don’t know when exactly she will return. It depends on how well her health is improving.”

The group’s agency, Sun Entertainment Culture, confirmed that Oli is diagnosed with uterine fibroids and will undergo surgery soon. Despite Oli’s indefinite leave, As One expressed that the group still has the spirit of four members.

As One, produced by Aaron Kwok’s (郭富城) dancer, Sunny Wong, officially debuted in Hong Kong in June 2012. The group comprises of four members between the ages 18 and 19 – eldest member Elfa, Oli, Shin, and Nata. They are best known for their debut single, “Catch Me Up”.
