Joey Yung Brings Out Own Lingerie for New MV
Joey Yung (容祖兒) revealed that she had to wear her own lingerie for the filming of her new sexy music video, “Seeing You in a Different Light” <另眼相看>.
“Good thing I stock up my lingerie regularly. That’s why I have so many prepared for today!” exclaimed the excited Joey. The singer had 20 different sets of lingerie prepared for the filming.
The music video for “Seeing You in a Different Light” ” was directed by Vernie Yeung, a well-known Hong Kong director for producing TV commercials and ads. Vernie expressed that he wanted Joey to present a sexier side of herself and advised her to wear lingerie throughout the music video.
In the music video, Joey will have scenes of her dancing with male models and riding in trendy vehicles. Joey herself admitted that she has never filmed such a “revealing” music video before.
The single, “Seeing You in a Different Light” was released online via iTunes and other Chinese music websites on May 13, 2013. Produced by Alex Fung (馮翰銘), the lyrics, written by Wyman Wong (黃偉文), the song centers around her relationship with a strange lover. The song was accused of plagiarizing to Adele’s “Rumour Has It”, but Joey was not bothered by the rumors as long as fans enjoyed her work.
