Steven Ma Marries Fala Chen in New MV
The music video for Steven Ma’s (馬浚偉) latest Mandarin single “I’m Getting Married” <我要結婚了> dropped online recently, and he gathered good friends Fala Chen (陳法拉), Lam King Kong (林敬剛), Brian Wong (黃澤鋒), and Vincent Choi (蔡誌恩) to star in the video.
Played out as a mini-movie, the music video is about Steven, a groom-to-be, struggling with his inner turmoil about marriage. While he is looking forward to having a blissful future with his wife Fala, he finds the idea of being together forever fearful, and is perturbed by the fact that he will no longer live a casual and unrestrained life. Steven said that there are many emotional scenes in the music video, where he has to display contradicting feelings. “Wrestling with an angel and a devil,” described Steven.
This project is Steven and Fala’s second time portraying a couple at a wedding; the first was when they were hired to film an ad for Louvre Bridal Salon in 2010.
Lam King Kong, Brian Wong, and Vincent Choi portray Steven’s best friends and groomsmen. Steven remarked that if he were to get married in real life, he would definitely invite his three friends to be his groomsmen. As for Fala, whom Steven sees as his little sister, he said that Fala will be sitting in the same chairs with his family, showing their close relationship.

Yes, yes, Steven, we know that you’re good friends with Fala and all yr other female co-stars who see you as one of the “sisters”, no need to keep telling us how good yr relationship with them is. It’s either this or how nice he is to his dad. We all know that Steven is always Mr Nice Guy……no wonder some people hv commented that they find Steven rather fake and pretentious.
Because if he did not say that, the tabloid will say they are dating, etc, etc. especially, it will be bad for fala, who has a husband, and other girls, who have a partners. he is trying to make sure he can stay friends w.o causing them trouble. some ppls need to be lighten up, and stop reading in too much about everything lol. And haters gonna hate 🙂
Well said Little Fishy! It is already hard for the opposite sex to be friends,so for celebs it us even harder. It is not like he is close to all of his co stars. The on,y ones that I know he is close to are of course Fala ,Linda and Tavia. I heard that Fala is not that close to a lot of people,especially of the opposite sex so for her to be so close to Steven truly shows something. I feel it is so sweet that they can be so close like brother and sister. There are different types of love rather than just the erotic type of love.
I get what you’re trying to say but no need to keep repeating ad nauseum. It’s getting repetitive and grates on the nerves.
To us, it might be a nuisance to hear someone repeat themselves. But to them, it’s rather be a nuisance than the press think they only said it to cover up. And it shows: we fan would love him to pair with one of his “close” friend, but because he keeps saying this, we just don’t even wish lawl. I don’t know whether he got a partner or not, but you don’t think of him handing out with tavia/fla/Linda as dating, but friends who catch up. So no big deal even if the mags say: spotted Steven and Linda out at a cafe >_>
