#10YearChallenge: Hong Kong Celebs Who Didn’t Change Much In 10 Years
Ageless beauties in Hong Kong entertainment.
Ten years didn’t seem to make a dent on many Hong Kong celebrities’ looks. Following the social media trend #10YearChallenge, in which people posted up photos of themselves from 2009 and 2019, the below female celebs show that they are still looking fabulous at any age.
Rebecca Zhu (31)
TVB actress Rebecca Zhu (朱晨麗), had the same gorgeous eyes and complexion.
Alice Chan (45)
Alice Chan (陳煒) looks equally stunning in a killer gown from 2009.
Gigi Leung (42)
Singer-actress Gigi Leung (梁詠琪), who is a mother of one, still turns heads today with her signature short hairdo.
Elena Kong (47)
Joining ATV in 1997, Elena Kong (江美儀) has retained her feminine features over the years.
Bernice Liu (40)
Bernice Liu (廖碧儿) shows off a photo from 10 years ago. The former TVB actress once revealed in an interview that she is a fan of hydrating facial masks, and drinks a glass of red wine daily.
Zoie Tam (37)
Recently praised for her performance in The Learning Curve of a Warlord <大帥哥>, Zoie Tam (譚凱琪) looks not a year older in her #throwback photo.
Fiona Sit (37)
Despite being close to her 40s, Fiona Sit (薛凱琪) has retained her neotenic look. The cat lover humorously thanked her pet for accompanying her throughout the last decade.
Janice Man (30)
Model-turned-actress Janice Man (文詠珊) has snagged roles playing goddesses in period dramas, such as 2017’s Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy <海上牧雲記> and most recently Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils <天龍八部>.
Charlene Choi (36) and Gillian Chung (38)
Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍) posted this shot in which she and Gillian Chung (锺欣潼) cross-dressed for a hilarious 2001 festive music video “Flowers of Spring” <迎春花>.
Grace Wong (32)
10 years on, Grace Wong (王君馨) has shed her facial baby fat but retains a svelte figure.
Posting a graduation photo as contrast, Selena Li (李施嬅) shared how she went back to school after filming A Fistful of Stances<鐵馬尋橋> in 2009. The former Miss Hong Kong contestant has kept up her youthful good looks.
Christine Kuo (35)
The blissfully married Christine Kuo (苟芸慧) looks every bit the goddess, then and now.
Crystal Fung (24)
Crystal Fung (馮盈盈) joins the fun by showcasing her 14 year-old picture. The Miss Hong Kong 2016 winner also jokes about her lack of eyebrows and boobs with trademark candid humor in her hashtags.
Youthful-looking TVB Actress Apple Chan (陳芷尤), who starred in Come Home Love <愛·回家> among other dramas, had dated Owen Cheung (張振朗) for three years.

alice chan, she’s seriously pretty hot in any age.
@m0m0
I agree. She has always been pretty and now at her 40’s still looking good.
Zoie Tam…Wow lol…She looks exactly the same. haha
I can NOT believe this Rebecca Zhu (31) is only 31. OMG, I really thought she’s in her 40s when she was in that EU series w/Vincent Wong. haha lol….Damn
@wm2017 She was really good looking at 21
@wm2017
yeah, some people do look older when they are young but i notice that they will look good when they hit that older age…
They are all so pretty ARGH I hate them lol
– – –
I did see Zoie’s post on my Instagram feed, and I was so surprised because in my head I had always disgustingly assumed she had plastic surgery because I always thought she had one of those post-plastic-surgery faces
“post-plastic-surgery-faces” – is this a compliment or an insult?
Another thing, Apple Chan in Ah Boys to Men was so forking gorgeous, is there a reason why TVB has never given her ANY substantial roles in dramas before? TVB has given good roles to less-pretty-than-her actresses who acted worse than her in the past (since forever actually, and no, I am NOT referring to anyone in particular lol)
They are still hot but gotta say almost all were better looking 10 years ago.
@mike
i’d say that people looking the same after a decade would be such a big lie. one may look a decade younger, but to say that someone looking exactly the same in a decade is simply just can’t be. fine line grow, skin sag, features get deeper with years. unless of course the person is a vampire.
@m0m0 Agreed, the characteristics you mentioned actually helped some men look better as they grew older. There was previous article here on Jaynestars that listed a few men that got better with age.
@mike
Who does not age? But the most important thing is to age naturally and gracefully.
Can I just say, 10 year challenge is useless for chinese people. (A lor of caucasians thag I have seen too)
I look the same 10 years ago. Cant say for another 10 years if I will, bit the 10 years challenge has been pretty rubbish way of seeing how people have changed.
