Jacqueline Wong Shares Details of Tropical Vacation with Kenneth Ma

Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎) welcomed reporters to drill her about her vacation with boyfriend Kenneth Ma (馬國明) when she attended a grand opening event for a new makeup store. The TVB actress, who just came back from a five-day, four-night vacation to Ko Samui with Kenneth, said she has charged all her batteries and is ready to get back to work.

Asking if there were any “improvements” to her relationship with Kenneth, Jacqueline laughed and said, “It’s been okay! Spent most of [our] time in the spa. I will soon be going to Canada for work, and will be going on a trip for my sister’s wedding. (Will your next trip be a honeymoon with your boyfriend?) Isn’t that a bit too soon?”

Remarking that a five-day trip with Kenneth would be enough time to talk about marriage, Jacqueline joked, “We actually didn’t talk much, haha!” Pointing out that many of Jacqueline’s fellow Miss Hong Kong contestants are getting married, she said, “Marriage is not a trend. Just because others do it, doesn’t mean I have to. I am not in a hurry, but I am very happy for them. Congratulates, Phoebe Sin (單文柔)!”

Jacqueline said she was never much of a beach person, and would typically not choose island resorts as her go-to vacation spots. “I don’t like getting dark, and I don’t know how to swim, but this time, I’ve done all of that. I also went snorkeling for the first time, and I fell in love with it. I thought you needed to know how to swim to do it, but it’s not necessary. You wear the life jackets and feel like you already know how to swim. And you get to meet the world underwater.”

Kenneth acted as Jacqueline’s “human tripod” throughout the trip, helping Jacqueline the photos. “For someone who doesn’t usually take a lot of pictures, he really worked hard. I’m very thankful! He plays a photographer in a new drama, so he’s had practice.”
