2023 TVB Anniversary Awards Nominees
TVB held a press conference today to announce the nominees for its 2023 Anniversary Awards Presentation. The event will take place on Sunday, January 14, 2024.
The competition is fierce for Best Actor. Moses Chan (陳豪) is nominated for three dramas : Treasure of Destiny <新四十二章>, Narcotics Heroes <破毒強人>, and Romeo and His Butterfly Lover <羅密歐與祝英台>. Kenneth Ma (馬國明) is also nominated for three dramas: Speakers of Law <法言人>, The Invisibles <隱形戰隊>, and The Queen of News <新聞女王>. Kalok Chow (周嘉洛) is nominated with three dramas as well, while Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) and Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) are nominated with two dramas each.
As for Best Actress, Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) and Selena Lee (李施嬅) both were nominated for The Queen of News. If Charmaine wins, she will become the first actress to win Best Actress three times. Katy Kung (龔嘉欣), Sisley Choi (蔡思貝), Nancy Wu (胡定欣), and Rosina Lam (胡定欣和林夏薇) were all nominated for two dramas.

Charmaine should win this
Was she that good? Or was she the best amongst the mediocre?
Anyone besides Charmaine and Selena winning best actress would make it too obvious that its rigged.
Tried watching queen of news. Made me feel dumber by the minute. I’m in HK now. The news are not even that exciting. I stopped watching earlier on and I doubt they will talk politics. And one actor nominated for all the series he acted per year is ridiculous. They are nominating the actor not his work. Just do popularity contest. I’m in HK and frankly I switched on TV and I didn’t even know theres TV series ongoing.
