50-Year-old Michael Tse Announces He Will Be a Father Again

Married for 13 years, 50-year-old Michael Tse (謝天華) announced today that he will be a father again. Posting a picture of a baby ultrasound on social media, Michael wrote, “This year, we will welcome a new addition to the family. Very grateful. [My son] will become a big brother. It will be hard on my wife. I Love U.”

Michael’s wife, Tina, takes care of their three-year-old son in Hong Kong while Michael works most of the year in Mainland China. Currently filming in Guangzhou, Michael admitted that most of the burden of raising their children will fall on Tina. He said,”I haven’t stopped working since the start of the new year. My work is scheduled until the end of the year. Thanks to my wife for working so hard. I’ll buy her a gift to make up for it!”

Friends were surprised by Michael’s baby announcement. Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) said, “A few days ago, I went to Michael’s house and saw Tina. She held back from eating a lot of foods. I joked and asked if she was pregnant. They laughed a bit. Today, I saw Michael’s good news. I’m very happy for them.”

Timmy Hung (洪天明) also left his congratulations, and said Michael does not know whether the baby is a girl or boy yet. “The most important thing is that the baby is healthy!”
