54 Year Old Raymond Cho Turns to Traditional Chinese Medicine to Keep Youthful Looks
Justice Bao: The First Year <包青天再起風雲> star Raymond Cho (曹永廉) is 54 years old, but he doesn’t look a day past 35. Earning the nicknamed “the iced hero,” netizens and fans alike all wonder how Raymond does it, and the answer turns out to be much more complicated than originally thought.
Earlier, paparazzi spotted Raymond walking into a traditional Chinese healthcare clinic in Mong Kok. Raymond apparently regularly visits a traditional Chinese doctor there to undergo an acupuncture treatment that involves using over a hundred needles on his face and body.
In Justice Bao, Raymond plays Gongsun Ce, one of Bao Zheng’s most trusted advisors. Though Raymond is sixteen years older than the main lead Shaun Tam (譚俊彥), their chemistry as leader and assistant translated well on screen.
In 2017’s A General, a Scholar, and a Eunuch <超時空男臣>, Raymond plays a government scholar who travels to the future along with a general and a eunuch. In the show, he has to refer Edwin Siu (蕭正楠), who is 12 years younger than Raymond, as big brother. Viewers complimented that they did not find their age difference distracting.
Their costar Kristal Tin (田蕊妮) once said, “Raymond is amazing. You’re already lacking sleep from filming all day, but Raymond still ends up looking younger than Edwin. What did he eat?”
Raymond said, “Be consistent with doing facials and moisturizing face sheets. Take care of your health. Eat less sugar and salt. Most importantly, it is the mindset. Happiness can make anyone look young.”

He does look good for a 54 but saying he’s barely 35 is waaaaaay far-fetched.
