Elegant Hong Kong Home
Sharing bits of her daily life on Instagram, Carina revealed photos of her luxurious residence in Mid-Levels, Hong Kong where she lives at with husband Tony Leung (梁朝偉). Preferring a retro style, the living room is thoughtfully decorated with a strong vintage feel and stylish European retro decor. Dim lighting and complex floral sofa prints also evoke a keen aura of old Shanghai. With numerous collectible items around the home, crystal hanging lights and mahogany sofas in the living room, it certainly looks luxurious.
Carina loves to gather friends for large meals. Her dining area consists of an ultra-long dining table with posh cutlery and napkins, and a bar behind stocked full of alcoholic beverages. She had played host to actresses Zhang Ziyi (章子怡), writer Elaine Jin (金燕玲), famed art director-costume designer William Chang (張叔平) and director Stanley Kwan (關錦鵬). Photos of Carina with her friends can be seen at home can be seen on social, but there were strangely no loving shots of the actress with her husband.
100 Million RMB Home in The Bund
While her Mid-Levels home looks impressive enough, Carina has an even more stunning house in Shanghai, which she reportedly bought for an astronomical price tag of 100 million RMB. Measuring 4700-feet and located at the internationally famous, colonial-styled area in The Bund in Shanghai, her home has two living rooms and three bedrooms.
Carina had invited her friend and acclaimed art director William Chang, who was the art director of In the Mood for Love <花樣年華> to design her interior spaces. Inspired by neo-classical styles, the luxurious home features its own indoor swimming pool and so much opulent decor that it resembles an art museum. From furniture to lights, everything was intricately put together by the hands of masters, with collectibles occupying many areas to reflect the couple’s artistic tastes.
Dark-colored wallpaper decorates the walls and multi-colored glass panels add elegant touches, while a limited edition painting of Chongqing-born artiste Zhou Chunya‘s (周春芽) “Blooming Peach Blossom” <桃花始盛開>, gave her home an air of exclusivity.
Many netizens complimented Carina’s tasteful homes, saying it reflects her understated elegance and substance.

Carina always had good taste, as shown by her diverse red carpet fashions. Her homes are elegant and reflect her eclectic taste. William Chang did a wonderful job adding more artistic flourishes to Carina’s home in Shanghai. Really love the yellow embroidered chair in Carina’s office, which is a work of art in itself.
