Aaron Yan Addresses His Dating Rumors with Former Choc7 Member
Aaron Yan’s (炎亞綸) rumored romance with Ben Weng (阿本), ex-leader of the boy band Choc7 (超克7), has been ongoing for eight years. Both parties never formally responded to the rumor. Last year, the rumored pair were spotted going to the movies together, and Ben was even photographed going in and out of Aaron’s new home in Taipei several times. Ben was also seen taking care of Aaron’s pet dog, Poti.
On the Chinese talk show Hua Hua Wan Wu <花花萬物> hosted by Taiwanese MCs Xiao S (小S) and Kevin Tsai (蔡康永), Xiao S boldly asked Aaron about his thoughts on his ongoing dating rumors with Ben. The former Fahrenheit (飛輪海) member first looked taken aback, but quickly composed himself and said, “We used to be really, really good, but now we are completely just friends.”
“What happened?” asked Xiao S. “You guys were originally good but suddenly not anymore?” When Aaron denied it, she continued to ask, “You guys aren’t in contact anymore?” Aaron quickly explained, “No, no! We’re always in contact!”
