Aaron Yan Admits He Is in a Relationship

Accused of filming and leaking intimate videos, Taiwanese actor-singer Aaron Yan (炎亞綸) took a year-long hiatus after his #MeToo scandal, and has since returned to work. In Taichung to promote his new drama, sci-fi series Quantum Dice <Q18量子預言> on August 10, which coincided with this year’s Chinese Valentine’s Day, the 38-year-old made the surprising revelation that he had been dating for three years!

Aaron Lays Bare His Vulnerability in New Relationship

Aaron told the press that the other party was “half a showbiz insider”, and that this person had accompanied himself while he was facing the #MeToo scandal. With him, he is willing to be vulnerable, he told the press.

“He journeyed by me through the experience, and has been through much with me, I find it difficult to be trusting or to put in my all into relationships, I’ve had bad experiences before, he’s really someone whom I feel that I can give my all to,” said Aaron, who dives into how his partner makes him willing to accept the emotional risk of opening up.

“Because giving your all brings the possibility of hurt, he’s someone for whom I’m willing to risk getting hurt,” Also at the event, actress Lee Chien-na (李千娜) remarked that it was very romantic that Aaron chose to make his new romance known on Qixi festival.
