Aww..how adorable!! What a lovely family.
This is so cute! Always stsrt them young so good job Ada!!!
Ada is starting her girls young. This way, they won’t have princess syndrome.
Seriously, folks are sooooo reading too much into this much ado about nothing photo oppor of this family.
So a 3 yr old has a photo opp with a vacuum cleaner. This totally means nothing.
It doesn’t mean this child will know how to clean, nor want to when she grows up into elementary school. high school etc.
Cleaning may seem a novelty play chore when at 3, it may not be at 13.
Just ask any parent who paid top fees for Montessori environment daycare/preschool environment (Montessori has a strict system where kids put away one project neatly before beginning another … do daily cleaning of classroom and other practical lifeskills, sit down engaged activities instead of running amok in classroom as some ‘freer’ playschools allow) … and check back years later IF the kids ever follow those early habits introduced and instilled, later in life.
Kids become their own individual teenagers = holding a vacuum at 3 is NO guarantee of anything!
@nomad822 it def. doesn’t gurantee anything but it is a good start. Especially in Asia. What I noticed with kids or even older ppl in Asia is they are used to having domestic helper do everything for them. When they are done eating they don’t help clear the tables nor do they help setup table. As they used to having the helpers do it for them. My kids from early age are taught that when they are done eating to put their dishes in the sink. They are also taught to clean up their own mess and to help with setting up for dinner. When i go to hk i noticed my niece who is 1 yr younger then my daughter to be very reliant on the helper. She is still very babyish. Food are brought to her to eat and when she is done she doesn’t have to do anything. Helper does everything. Even when we go out, helper help her carry her extra jacket. I also noticed this behaviour with other relatives and friends children. Not really good in my opinion but not my place to say anything. So its a start for Ada and hopefully her kids will learn to continue what she is teaching them and to grow up more independent.
