Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Yeo Been’s “A Time Called You” Releases First Official Image
Starring Ahn Hyo Seop, Jeon Yeo Been, and Kang Hoon, Korean remake A Time Called You released its first still. Fans of the Taiwanese original, Someday or One Day <想見你>, are delighted to finally get a sneak peek on the new adaptation.
Similar to its original source drama, A Time Called You tells an angsty time-traveling romance between Han Jun Hee (Jeon Yeo Been) and her boyfriend Ko Yeon Jun (Ahn Hyo Seop) who passed away a year ago. While listening to their love song, You to Me Again, Jun Hee mysteriously traveled into the body of a student named Kwon Min Ju in 1998. She encounters Nam Si Heon, who looks exactly like Ko Yeon Jun, and his friend Jung In Kyu (Kang Hoon), who has a crush on Min Ju. While trying to navigate the past, she is confronted by a mysterious twist in events.
In the latest still, Hyo Seop and Yeo Been are seen gazing at each other sweetly as the light is filtered through the window and curtains in the room. The light and airy atmosphere successfully created warm and dreamy vibes, which raised anticipations on Hyo Seop and Yeo Been’s chemistry.
The production team also shows promise. Director Kim Jin Won has worked on The Innocent Man (2012), Just Between Lovers (2017), and My Country: The New Age (2019). However, screenwriter Choi Hyo Bi has yet to build a successful profile and has only worked on Babysitter (2016). Despite her lack of famous works, she is expected to bring forward an engaging adaptation.
