Alex Fong and Stephy Tang’s Romance Marks a Turning Point
Alex Fong Lik Sun and Stephy Tang Lai Yan, a popular couple in movies and love songs, have now turned their long rumored relationship from “underground romance” to become more “real”.
The couple was earlier spotted to have spent a trip together in Maldives. Reporters asked Alex if they got married secretly and spent their honeymoon in Maldives. Alex replied ” How can I hide such news from the paparazzi ? No…we didn’t get married and the trip wasn’t our honeymoon!”
Stephy just smiled and expressed that she considered herself an “inappropriate” age to get married. Reporters asked Alex how he felt about being reported on his trip with Stephy to Maldives. Alex replied, ” Just believe in what you see; both of us feel that we really have nothing to cover up! It’s just that we don’t feel it’s appropriate to disclose too much details about our relationship.”
Stephy was asked if she shared a hotel room with Alex. The couple was very much on the same page in terms of giving out well thought out answers. Stephy replied, “As Alex mentioned, we don’t want to disclose too much details of our relationship but we admitted we went on the trip to Maldives together.”

I feel that ever since news broke out that Andy was secretly married and so was Charlene and Ronald and then getting divorced, it seems like stars are opening up a little more about their relationships now. There’s more announcements on marriages, hookups than ever before, I feel. I guess they know that paper can’t wrap fire, and eventually people will find out the bad way even if they try to hide it. I sometimes wonder if Andy’s secret marriage was never revealed, would Leon or Miriam have announced their marriage to the whole world as well or would they have tried to hide it too?

Aly, I’m glad for the trend in more “open relationships.” Fans just want more honesty.
However, it appears that tabloids are more aggressive than ever in publishing the latest exposes and paying sources for the tips. Many celebrities got caught on camera dating or details of their marriage were revealed before they admitted to the truth. So it’s still rare for celebrities to admit dating relationships without “glaring evidence.”

Leon and Miriam did not announced their marriage voluntarily. They got found out when reporters were investigating Andy’s marriage. I think the 3 couples registered at the same marriage registration department in US.
