Ali Lee Regrets Not Being Able to Film “Big White Duel 2”

Despite winning Best Actress, Ali Lee (李佳芯) unexpectedly suffered a massive career setback, when she was “frozen” by the company due to her social media update on urging others to vote. Ali has been dropped from several dramas, including Big White Duel 2 <白色強人>.

While promoting her new myTV SUPER’s variety show, Mindfulness Sleep <夢中.情.人>, Ali was asked about her feelings on being dropped from Big White Duel 2. “I have not watched the first episode of the drama, so I don’t know which of my lines were included as audio-only. I didn’t do any recordings for the sequel, so they must have used lines I’ve said from the first installment and added them to the sequel.”

When asked whether she feels regret over not being able to participate in the commercially successful drama, Ali expressed, “Of course, I feel a sense of pity since I part of the cast in the first series. I also had a great time filming with my coworkers. The storyline is also very meaningful. All in all, I definitely feel regret that I was not able to partake in the project.”
