Alice Chan Grieves Father’s Passing
Recently losing her father, Alice Chan (陳煒) is currently in mourning. He had passed away due to illness on April 5 at the age of 90.
“In my eyes, my father was an encyclopedia. There was nothing he didn’t know, not only did he teach me about life but he was also the first one to teach me how to cook. My father was my biggest support; I will make sure to remember all that you have taught me and to be grateful for what I have in the moment. I love you always,” she wrote tearfully.
Alice thanked everyone for their concern and shared that her family’s wish to have a simple funeral and they will not be responding to further press questions.
Last November, Alice got engaged with Dr. Aldous Chan (陳國強). The couple had scheduled to get married in April, but will now delay their plans due to a death in the family.
Despite grieving for her father’s passing, Alice continued to film for her two current dramas. Although professional on set, she remained subdued when the cameras are off and staff have been careful to not disturb her.
