Andy Lau, Huang Xiaoming, Shen Teng Star in Wong Jing Comedy

Last week, the new Wong Jing (王晶) comedy film Trump Card Teases the Trump Card <王牌逗王牌> greeted the world for the first time in a press conference held in Beijing. The movie stars an unlikely comedy trio—Andy Lau (劉德華), Huang Xiaoming (黃曉明), and comedian Shen Teng (沈腾), the star of last year’s hit comedy, Goodbye Mr. Loser <夏洛特煩惱>.

“I decided to do this movie because I knew Shen Teng would be in it,” expressed Andy when he was asked why he accepted Wong Jing’s film offer. “Originally I thought I’d get to pull pranks on him, but it turns out that he’s going to be my leader.”

On working with Andy Lau for the first time, Huang Xiaoming said, “I’m so honored. We will have a love-hate relationship in the film. There will be many fights, laughter, and conflicting relationships. He will always be my idol.” Shen Teng then added, “I have the best role in the film. I get to be Andy Lau’s superior. That’s the main reason why I’m doing this movie!”

In addition to the trio, Trump Card Teases the Trump Card will also star Hong Kong actor Wong Cho-lam (王祖藍), Mainland actress Michelle Hu Ran (胡然), and Taiwanese actress Nana Ou-yang (歐陽娜娜).

Xiaoming Likes to Tease Angelababy

Similar to his role in the film, Xiaoming said he is often the life of the party and likes to make people happy. He also shared that he is usually the one who does the teasing in his family. “[Angelababy] make look strong in the outside, and she’s quite the teaser when she’s on variety shows, but at home she throws the cutest tantrums.”

How does Xiaoming tease Angelababy at home? He humorously said, “By sa jiao [acting cute]. Men who act cute get the best life.”
