Bai Jingting and Song Yi Caught Vacationing in Hainan Together

Destiny <長風渡> costars,  Bai Jingting (白敬亭) and Song Yi (宋軼), are rumored to be dating with recent social media posts adding fuel to the fire.

On April 27,  Bai Jingting had posted photos of himself by the sea, showing off his six-pack abs in a bright unbuttoned shirt. There were two photos from a resort hotel. One month later, Song Yi posted on Weibo a photo of herself with a flower in her hair while at a resort hotel. Her caption read, “Under the sun and unique update–summer confession season.”

Although they had purposefully posted on social media one month apart and with different backgrounds, eagle-eyed netizens recognized that they had both stayed at the Capella Hotel Sanya. Many felt that they were very compatible and called for them to get married, as the pair have allegedly met each other’s parents and are already living together.

Destiny is expected to air soon, as Bai Lu (白鹿) and Zhang Linghe (张凌赫)’s Story of Kunning Palace <寧安如夢> was pulled from its May 19^th release date last minute due to Bai Lu’s morally gray character, who does everything in her power to become the queen, including backstabbing family and causing her childhood friend’s entire family to be executed. However she dies after becoming queen and is reborn as a more conscientious person. Despite the thrilling plot, it does not send the usual positive message that the Chinese government likes to promote. On the other hand Destiny has a simpler and more positive message, centering around a rich playboy who is changed for the better by the female lead’s love.
