Ben Wong Wants “Happy Money”, Mandy Wong to Spend a Summery New Year
On Tuesday, fourth day of the new lunar year, Ben Wong (黃智賢) and Mandy Wong (黃智雯) went back to work for their new TVB drama, tentatively titled Miscellaneous Cops <雜警奇兵>. In the show, Mandy plays an overachieving pregnant cop, while Ben plays her superior and love interest.
In light of the Lunar New Year holidays, the TVB drama crew got to have three days off. Ben shared with a laugh that he only ate and slept last weekend. Besides paying new year visits to his family, Ben also found time to catch up on some movies.
Asking Ben if he had any new year wishes, Ben said, “I want to be able to film dramas and play characters that I love. I want to earn happy money!”
Like Ben, Mandy also spent time with her family at home. She shared that she will soon go to Australia for a show, and will stay there for five days. Mandy said she is prepared to enjoy the summer Australian weather.
“I’m bringing my swimsuits, so I’m expecting it to be hot,” said Mandy. “Hopefully I’ll also have time to attend a dance class there.”
Miscellaneous Cops is produced by the newcoming Ng Koon-yu (吳冠宇) and also stars Amy Fan (樊奕敏), C Kwan (C君), and Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎). Principal photography is expected to end by late February.
