Bernice Liu On Her On-Again, Off-Again Relationship with Calvin Lo
Bernice Liu’s (廖碧兒) dating life often attracts tabloid attention because of her high profile exes such as Hawick Lau (劉愷威) and Moses Chan (陳豪), and Alastair Lam (林忠豪). While Bernice ended her last known relationship with wealthy businessman Calvin Lo (盧啟賢), she is still seen spending time with him. With many questions surrounding her relationship, Bernice spoke about Calvin and her current status.
Reconciling with Calvin?
When Bernice and Calvin were dating, it was exposed that he did not break up with Thai heiress Nina Bencharongkul and Bernice was the third party in the relationship. Asked if Bernice minded Calvin’s negative press, she replied, “The news was fine. I was concerned that my career affected him.” Bernice admitted that she had learned from her previous relationships, and will look more look carefully before making a move. For now, Bernice will keep their relationship as friends and will focus on being happy.
Bernice revealed that she never avoided Calvin and would still meet up as friends. When asked if there was a chance of the two at reconciling, Bernice replied, “It was always up for discussion. I will not limit myself and say it will never happen.”
While Bernice has not seen Calvin in a while, they are in constant communication. Bernice insisted they are currently still friends, but teased hat she will make an announcement if there is good news. When asked if the good news would be about marriage, Bernice quickly replied, “Don’t know!”
Outlook on Love
Bernice acknowledges that her love life was not always smooth, yet she understood that life is filled with happy and unhappy experiences. She doesn’t care about what other people think as long as both parties in the relationship are comfortable.
Her parents haven’t pressured her to marry, since her siblings are married with children. However, Bernice really likes children and is ready to be a mother, “I’ve thought of adopting before I get married. A lot of my friends have done it. There is no problem.”
