Bernice Liu Relives Romance for ViuTV Drama “The Marriage”

Needless to say, Bernice Liu’s (廖碧兒) love life has been as mysterious as it is public. Her two ex-boyfriends, Hawick Lau (劉愷威) and Moses Chan (陳豪), now have their own families, and after splitting with wealthy businessman Calvin Lo (盧啟賢), there were rumors that Bernice was already married. Nonetheless, the 39-year-old actress maintains that she is still single.

A businesswoman herself, Bernice has nothing to lose. A smart investor and a wine connoisseur, Bernice owns many businesses, and she has plenty of options to fall back on. Recently, the media spotted her filming the new ViuTV drama The Marriage <婚內情>, which also stars her former TVB colleagues Sunny Chan (陳錦鴻) and Sheren Tang (鄧萃雯).

The Marriage centers on the relationship between a husband and wife, respectively played by Sunny and Sheren. Bernice plays Sheren’s younger sister, who also so happens to have ambiguous feelings for Sunny. Chinese Canadian actor Shaoping Tsui (徐肇平), Gigi Wong’s (黃淑儀) son, plays Bernice’s boyfriend.

The media managed to snap pictures of Sheren, Bernice, and Shaoping doing a scene in Sai Wan Ho; reportedly, the scene was about Bernice bringing Shaoping to meet with Sheren for the first time. Although Shaoping is nine years younger than Bernice, the onscreen couple displayed strong chemistry, looking like a real couple in love.
