Bosco Wong Looking to Start a Business in Hong Kong?

Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) is finally back in Hong Kong after three months in Hengdian, China filming for Young Sherlock <少年神探狄仁杰>. This week, Bosco was seen in Central’s Soho district with two well-suited men examining an available retail space. With his rumored $7.5 million RMB earnings for his lead role in the detective drama, Bosco may have plans to invest some of that money into a new business.

Since his public breakup with Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), Bosco has been out of the limelight and focused on developing his career in the mainland. After filming for Young Sherlock ended on April 10, Bosco immediately returned to Hong Kong for a much-deserved break. Due to the recent H7N9 bird flu scare, Bosco has been cooking his own food and avoided eating poultry. Upon his return to Hong Kong, his mother prepared a delicious home-cooked meal as reward for his hard work.

Not a stranger to business investments, Bosco previously contributed $8 million HKD to purchase a restaurant in Malaysia and turned it into a thriving nightclub. Despite earlier reports that the business had failed financially, Bosco clarified that his nightclub broke even and that they are looking to re-invent the business model based on industry trends.

On Wednesday, Bosco arrived in Central and met with two suited men who appeared to be real estate agents. The group spent some time conversing and gesturing in front of an empty retail space, prompting speculations that Bosco may be looking to open a shop locally.

When reporters contacted him by phone to ask about his business ventures, Bosco denied any plans to start a new business. He explained that he simply ran into some friends that day, and that he currently has no plans to invest in or to open a store.

Additionally, Bosco revealed that he will film for TVB again in May, working with Michelle Yim (米雪) in a modern drama series.
