Bosco Wong Lost Some Job Opportunities Because of the Pandemic
Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), Moses Chan (陳豪), and Chrissie Chau (周秀娜) attended a press conference held at Tseung Kwan O’s TVB City to promote their upcoming television drama series The Impossible 3 <非凡三俠>, produced by TVB’s sister company, Shaw Brothers Pictures.
The Impossible 3 follows three strangers who join hands to solve a series of mysterious events while both the police and the triad are on their trail.
In the 6-episode miniseries, which also stars Chilam Cheung (張智霖), Bosco plays the very anxious action choreographer Chan Loog. Bosco was responsible for most of the action-packed scenes, filming long nights and days.
“It’s definitely not easy,” said Bosco. “One episode plays out an entire day. After filming a bulk of the episode during the day, we have to continue filming at night for the action sequences. And Malaysia is hot all the time. Definitely worked nonstop for 12 hours.”
The Impossible 3 is set in Malaysia. Bosco is thankful to have his local friends providing him with food. The cast and crew were all well fed.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Bosco is stuck in Hong Kong. He has never stayed in Hong Kong for such a long period of time. “I don’t think I’ve stayed in Hong Kong for this long before without flying,” he said.
With decreased performance opportunities, Bosco admitted that he’s lost quite a few opportunities to earn more money. “Of course my job was affected. Rarely are people doing live shows now. Everything is online. Thankfully, the Shaw Brothers is a big company. No need to be afraid!”
The Impossible 3 premieres in Hong Kong on December 28, 2020.
