Bosco Wong Makes Comeback With 3 Films
Bosco Wong’s (黃宗澤) infidelity was questioned after he announced his breakup with Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) last month, which tarnished his image to a slight extent. However, with three films lined up and ready to premiere within the next couple of months, Bosco may be able to redeem his damaged image.
Bosco Earns Critical Praise in “Love in Time”
Last week, the first teaser trailer of Paco Wong’s (黃柏高) romantic comedy, Love in Time <等我愛你>, was mysteriously released online. Prior to its internet debut, the trailer was shown in the big screen in front of the theatrical play, The Cheapy Dogs <愛可以多狗>. The fantasy-like romance in Love in Time directly contrasts with The Cheapy Dogs’ dark and depressing plot. Love in Time will be released in Hong Kong cinemas in November.
Love in Time stars Bosco as “Chau Bo,” a rude and low-class ice cream vendor who drives his truck around the streets. In the film, he shares a hate-love relationship with Stephy Tang’s (鄧麗欣) character “Chu Tai.” Bosco’s performance is uniformly praised by critics, and it is said that Bosco’s damaged image may possibly be salvaged after this film.
“Buddy Cops” and “Together”
Following Love in Time will be Bosco’s starring role in the police comedy, Buddy Cops <神獸巴打>, with Lives of Omission <潛行狙擊> costar Michael Tse (謝天華). Gritty gangster films and police thrillers are a staple of the Hong Kong film industry, and it is without doubt that Buddy Cops will earn just as much attention as its predecessors. Buddy Cops will also star King Kong (金剛), Kate Tsui (徐子珊), Alice Chan (陳煒), Lam Wai (林偉), Lisa Cheng (鄭麗莎), and Chin Ka Lok (錢嘉樂).
Bosco will also have a supporting role in the Taiwan and Hong Kong co-produced romantic film, Together <Together在一起>, which stars Donnie Yen (甄子丹), Michelle Chen (陳妍希), Kai Ko (柯震東), and Angelababy. In the film, Bosco will be involved in a triangle relationship with Angelababy and Kai Ko.

Stephy Tang, Angelababy and Kate Tsui are not A list costars at all. Whatever Bosco just get away from Myolie. Goodbye.
Stephy is cute nothing wrong with her. Bosco and Stephy look good together in the preview 🙂
Looking forward for Bosco and Stephy’s partnership 😀
Myolie also costarred with supporting actors in her Mainland dramas. As for films, she doesn’t have many under her belt.
Seriously………
Bosco & Myolie news are getting old and boring.
Jayne, there’s a correction. Love in Time will only release in November, not in August :D. Can you correct the information above? Thanks.
HK movies are mostly crap now so have no expectations for any HK movies and these ones that he’s in look like only smallhouse productions. Mainland movies have bigger casts and budgets such as upcoming Huayi’s Detective Dee. By the way Bosco’s market value is good. Just saw his new ad up at the store. Looking young and cute in plaid shirt and boyish hairstyle.
Small productions or not I still look forward for this movie although Bosco is very rude and rough in the trailer. I miss the gentleman Hui Sir…
The reality now is HK movies and TV industry has fallen below mainland’s thriving movies and TV industry.
Bosco is back with three movies, awesome!! I can’t wait to watch them, image and image still no evidence, so I hope people still can support him for his acting and take put aways his personal life problems, that the media has being bringing up.
Just watched the trailer. Bosco looks uncouth and very MK and so is Stephy. Pretty interesting.
Aren’t are these filmed before the scandal?
so happy to know that Bosco’s new movie will be out soon…looking forward to watch it…I have watch the trailer..I think his acting is good..I don’t care the stupid news about his image tarnish.. caused I will definitely support him and watch all his movies….
Dude is awesome as an actor. What he can do now is stay low and focus entirely on work until the storm is over. His private love life is his business but tabloid readers are too nosy and will take whatever crap the oh so professional HK media are throwing, based on most comments on this site.
Movie has indie and non mainstream feel except for the casting of used to be pop idol Stephy. Not sure how HK will accept this kind of thing.
Bosco is a really good actor. He has great potentials.
