Bosco Wong Shares on Filming “Forensic Heroes 6”
Gracing the publicity event for Forensic Heroes 6 <法證先鋒VI:倖存者的救贖>, actor Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) revealed that co-star Niklas Lam (林正峰) enjoyed “flirting” on set, and would often ask Joey Thye (戴祖儀) to go to the laundry room with him!
Bosco Spills on Niklas’ Friendliness Towards Female Co-Stars
Joey explained that she often accompanied Niklas to do their laundry together as the two of them often ended the day’s filming work close to midnight”. Prompted by the host not to digress and to turn his focus back on the drama’s plot, Niklas blurted, “There’s nothing special about the plot”, causing an uproar of laughter!
Hyping up the atmosphere, Bosco joked and commented it is only right that “young people have this kind of vitality”! He then implied that “daughter-in-law” (referring to TVB Manager Eric Tsang‘s (曾志偉) daughter-in-law) Venus Wong (王敏奕) was well cared for on set, as her onscreen role was a central character, yet she only had to appear at the first and final scene.
Filmed in Freezing Climate in Japan
While other cast members envied Bosco and Venus for traveling to Japan for outtakes, Bosco complained, “We had it tough too, it was below zero degrees, we had only thin clothes on and were filming in the forest, Venus had a scene where she had to roll down the mountain, I had to run down to save her; another was by the lake, you’d think it’ll be super romantic but it was windy and rainy, it was hard to even say our lines. But there’s good food once we end work over there,”
Aired first in mainland China, Forensic Heroes VI was criticized for focusing too much on romance and too little on forensic investigations. Bosco replied that they’d have strike a finer balance in the next sequel, and hopes the entire series can be shot in Japan! On whether actress Charmaine Sheh (黃宗澤) would be appearing for publicity, Bosco expressed that they could not get the Queen to join in, adding that it was all up to producer Shu Kai-chung (鍾澍佳) ‘s arrangement, and that he was unsure when filming will begin for Queen of News 2 <新聞女王2>.
Sharing her romantic arc with co-star Kelvin Kwan (關楚耀), Jacky Cai (蔡潔) kept mum about whether Kelvin’s character is a protagonist or antagonist, but shared that she had an emotional breakdown while filming, cried continuously for a few months and even suffered hallucinations.
Actor Benjamin Yuan (袁偉豪) said that his action scenes are not that many, but had many lines to remember with six to seven scenes in a day. Enthusiastic about Bosco’s suggestion to film the next sequel in Japan, he said, “That’s a great idea, we can make it “Forensic Heroes: Summer Break!”
