Bosco Wong to Buy 2 Malaysian Properties

Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) and Raymond Lam (林峯) are not the only TVB actors who have found success in mainland China. Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) has also earned millions after his increasing workload in the mainland market, in which he hopes to wisely invest his earnings.

Filming for Young Sherlock <少年神探狄仁傑> has earned Bosco roughly $10 million HKD and it is rumored that his current salary is at $300 000 HKD per episode. However, Bosco’s focus is not solely on the Mainland market. He has not given up in filming for TVB and will be participating in Hong Kong promotions for his new drama A Change of Heart <好心作怪>, which will air on June 3.

Love for Property Investments

Filming aside, Bosco is a fan of investing activities. With childhood dreams of being a chef and his interest in the food industry, Bosco currently owns a bar lounge in Malaysia and will open an oyster bar in Central Hong Kong with his friends.

Lately, Bosco has been seen scouting out properties in both Penang and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Making plans to buy two properties – including a 6,000 square feet home, Bosco happily said, “Both of these places are great, you can get a beautiful view of the ocean from the apartment in Penang, and the one in Kuala Lumpur is very convenient! I just have to plan everything out before deciding!”

Despite his interest in foreign investments, his roots are still in Hong Kong. Bosco mentioned, “I’ve always lived in the Sha Tin District, so I want to find a penthouse in this area. They’re more expensive and I don’t want to do anything rash, so I’ll be sure to look carefully.”

Mom is Bosco’s Financial Manager

When asked about the riskiness of investing in businesses with friends, Bosco stated that his mother looks over his financials so he is not worried at all.

Bosco also demonstrates that he is a filial son by confessing that the houses in Malaysia are not only for investment purposes, but hopes that his mom can stay at a more comfortable and relaxing when they travel together to Malaysia.

  1. “you can get a beautiful view of the ocean from the apartment in Penang,”

Not 1 year later when there will be another condo to block the view!

Anyway for the price of a small dingy apartment in HK you can buy a condo in middle of KL or a bungalow somewhere farther away.

  2. Hey Bosco, if you are reading this! May I recommend you to ‘Binjai Residency’ @ KLCC, Kuala Lumpur?

  3. Bosco has a restaurant in Ipoh, why didn’t he buy a house in Ipoh?

    1. I think the article says he bought for investment? No? If investment then KL is a sound choice. NOt like he is planning to move here unless he err marries a Malaysian girl??
