Bosco Wong Wants An Outgoing Girlfriend

Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) made a special appearance for the exhibition of Valentino Garavani’s men designs in Hong Kong on September 25. Upon seeing the press, Bosco immediately wished everyone a happy Mid-Autumn Festival, and shared that he will be spending the holiday with his family and friends.

“I had dinner with Michael Miu (苗僑偉), Jaime Chik (戚美珍), and my mother last night,” Bosco shared. “Virginia Lok (樂易玲) also came, but they were talking about their kids, and I couldn’t contribute much to the conversation, so I just quietly ate my dinner.”

Asking if his mother has been urging Bosco to start his own family, the 34-year-old said, “No. She hasn’t even been asking me if I found a girlfriend.” Does Bosco plan on having kids? “I have no plans like that at the moment, but Jaime did tell me that I should have kids because it’ll be a different feeling. I told her I don’t even have a girlfriend yet.”

After finishing up promotions for the upcoming TVB anniversary drama Under the Veil <無雙譜>, Bosco will be going to Hangzhou, China to film another television drama. “I won’t be back until around December,” he said. Asking if Bosco would be looking for a girlfriend there, he said, “I’ll leave that to fate. Let’s see what happens. I don’t have any rumors now, so it’s a good time for me to meet new people.”

On his ideal type, Bosco said simply, “I want someone frank and outgoing, someone who wouldn’t need me to take care of all the time. I don’t have time for that.”

Mentioning that his former girlfriend Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) is rumored to be getting married in December, Bosco said, “If that is true, then congratulations!” Bosco sounded surprised at the reports indicating Myolie has been blacklisted by TVB, expressing that he has not heard of it. “I did hear [Myolie] may come back to do another drama. I’m actually not sure. To be honest, the Hong Kong entertainment circle is really small. It doesn’t matter where you go as long as there are good opportunities and collaborations.”

Asking if Bosco would renew his TVB contract, he said, “My contract is still going. There is still some time left.”
