Bowie Cheung Takes Much-Needed Mommy Vacation
Welcoming their son’s birth last November, Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪) and Bowie Cheung (張寶兒) have been busy parents. With the baby already four months old, Bowie took a much-needed break and went on vacation with her younger sister to Hangzhou, China.
While away, Bowie checked in on her son through a baby camera monitor every day. “When I see him unlocking new skills, I will regret that I am not around. But I still need to relax appropriately and maintain adequate separation from my son and husband.” Enjoying her vacation immensely, Bowie wrote, “Hangzhou is really beautiful. Do I see things differently after becoming a mother? Everything I look at feels so beautiful. # Hangzhou #West Lake# At night when there is no one around, it feels like we are in the world of Spirited Away.”
Festive Baby Banquet
It seemed like the perfect time for Bowie to pack in some pampering time for herself, since the first few months of motherhood have been a whirlwind. She and Benjamin had hosted a 100-day banquet for their son in February. They had invited dozens of their closest friends and colleagues from the industry to celebrate the occasion together. Their guests included: Lisa Wang (汪明荃); Benz Hui (許紹雄); Bobby Au Yeung (歐陽震華) and his wife; Shaun Tam (譚俊彥) and his wife; Joel Chan (陳山聰) and his family, Andrew Lau (劉偉強); Lynn Hung (熊黛林) and her husband; Alex Fong (方力申); Elaine Yiu (姚子羚); James Ng (吳業坤) and his wife; Priscilla Wong (黃翠如); Yoyo Chen (陳自瑤); Matthew Ho (何廣沛); and Jack Wu’s (胡諾言) family.
Among the guests who attended the baby banquet, Bowie Wu (胡楓) was the oldest guest at 92 years old. Bowie still looked healthy and very energetic. The tech-savvy senior posted a reel on his social media to celebrate the moment, “I was so happy today and I had so much fun! I attended the 100-day banquet for Benjamin and Bowie’s son. He looks exactly like his father–what a cute and adorable baby! I wish you and your family happiness, joy, and a very sweet life together.”
