“Boys’ Love” Performance By Zeno and Mansion Wows “King Maker III”
The third season of ViuTV’s popular music competition King Maker <全民造星> is back in business, and it’s better than ever. Split into two teams respectively led by Eman Lam (林二汶) and Kearen Pang (彭秀慧), teams A and B compete against each other for an opportunity to advance to the next round. Out of the 30 contestants thus far, ten would be eliminated.
With just 11 members in Team A—eight short against the 19 members of Team B—Team A managed to stand out and go from the losing team to the winning team after just one performance. In a best of five format, Team A stars Zeno Koo (顧定軒) and Manson Cheung (張進翹) broke the judging panel when they performed their rendition of Eason Chan’s (陳奕迅) “Us”—boys’ love (BL) version.
On stage, Zeno and Manson portrayed themselves as two lovers who are desperate for each other but cannot stay together because they are not meant to be. Without a doubt, this was definitely the first every BL stage performed in Hong Kong.

Really good reality competition. A team’s performances are definitely stage-worthy. it’s laughable tvb is still showing hand clapping performances.
