Actor Shin Sung Rok of The Last Empress fame is reportedly joining the cast of upcoming MBC drama Dr. Lawyer, alongside So Ji Sub and Im Soo Hyang! The fresh pairing is expected to set up plenty of onscreen sparks.

Centered on a genius medical surgeon who loses everything from unknown manipulation of his surgery, and later returns as Han Yi Han, a medical lawyer specializing in medical litigation, Dr. Lawyer tells the uplifting story of how he meets and teams up with a medical malpractice prosecutor to seek redress for victims.

Stealing the limelight for his role in The Last Empress, Shin Sung Rok showed his versatility and fans are excited to see what he would bring to the modern drama.
