Carlos Chan to Star in a New TVB Drama

Although Carlos Chan (陳家樂) and Shiga Lin (連詩雅) got engaged in June of this year, the couple are busy with their work commitments and decided to push their wedding to next year. In the meantime, Carlos is working hard to earn money for his love nest and has signed on a new project!

Carlos’ popularity has been steadily climbing after appearing in 2018’s drama Daddy Cool <逆緣>, but the actor has yet to star in a leading male role. Thankfully, Carlos may soon be getting his first break as he will be starring in a new TVB drama produced by Amy Wong (王心慰). The new drama with tentative title, Alien Space Sensor <異空感應> will begin filming in early October.

As Carlos’ schedule becomes packed with projects, many netizens are teasing that Shiga is Carlos’ lucky charm. In the last two years, Carlos has appeared in 10 projects, including Stories of Lion Rock Spirit <獅子山下的故事>, Customs Frontline <海關戰線>, and Triad 3 <紮職3>. To fulfill his work commitments, the actor is making frequent work trips between China and Hong Kong.

With the increased income, Carlos is eyeing to buy a property for his married life. Carlos was reportedly interested in buying a 50 million Hong Kong dollar house in the Ho Man Tin district but the house failed to close. Not giving up, Carlos is continuing to look for a house so that he and Shiga can live comfortably after their marriage.
