Cecilia Cheung Angry Over Son’s Girlfriend?

Despite her usually active social media presence, Cecilia Cheung (張柏芝) has been oddly silent the last three to four months, even sparking rumors that she is pregnant with her fourth child. Now, the speculations changed to Cecilia being hospitalized. It is now rumored that she is in the hospital due to being angered over her son Lucas Tse’s (謝振軒) supposed relationship with a 46-year-old female ski instructor.

Lucas and the woman were allegedly spotted shopping for daily necessities together and a media outlet reported the pair are cohabiting and they had pictures of them shopping for daily necessities together. Although Cecilia is not against her son dating, she cannot accept the 30-year-age gap.

Many netizens left comments under the news stating the apple does not fall far from the tree, “Doesn’t his dad also like Faye Wong (王菲) who is a lot older than him?” and “His grandpa Patrick Tse (謝賢) also has a relationship where the age gap was 50 years.”

Other netizens questioned the validity of the news. They said that no pictures, evidence or information about the female ski instructor has been released so far. This was not the first time  Lucas has been embroiled in rumors over his romantic life. Last August, he was seen behaving intimately with a mysterious older woman in Australia.
