Cecilia Cheung to Give Birth on May 14th?

Earlier, there were rumors that Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi would have her second baby on Mother’s Day (May 9th) via caesarean section. As a result, a large number of reporters waited outside Cecilia and husband, Nicholas Tse Ting Fung’s apartment building from morning until nightfall on Sunday. However, there was no sight of Cecilia all day. Allegedly, to preserve privacy from the media, Cecilia may have temporarily moved elsewhere to await her baby’s arrival in peace.

The delivery date of the baby has been a primary focus of the paparazzi. Nic’s younger sister, Jennifer Tse Ting Ting, revealed that the baby’s birth will take place around May 14th.  Last night around 7 PM, Nic was spotted wearing a white T-shirt, jeans, and a cap with his son’s name, Lucas, printed on it. Accompanied by his maid, he drove to Repulse Bay to meet with his mother, Deborah Dik, to celebrate Mother’s Day. But Cecilia was not present. When Nic saw the large crowd of reporters, he smiled widely and waved.

At the same time, there were rumors circulating that Cecilia may have already given birth. Reporters contacted Nic’s manager, Mani, to confirm. However, Mani said that she did not receive any baby news from Nic yet. Everyone was eagerly anticipating the baby’s birth!

  1. A lot of mother to be nowadays, and not just those in the entertainment scene, have been opting for Caesarian section at an auspicious date and time usually provided by their Feng Shui sifu. Is this more ideal compared to natural labour?

On another note, Lucas has grown into a very handsome little kid. So I’m sure Nic & Cecilia’s 2nd child will share the abundance of his/her parents’ beautiful gene as well.

  2. Having a c-section usually means a shorter delivery and perhaps less pain than natural birth. But the recovery post delivery is usually more painful, since the cut in the uterus needs time to heal.

C-sections seem very popular in hong kong.

Many artists believe in fen shui. Picking an auspicious birth day, time of day could alter the kid’s whole life if you believe in fen shui.

  3. I read somewhere that it was another boy. It would be nice if they had a girl if they wanted another one. She would be a very pretty girl like her Cecilia.

  4. She had the baby yesterday! Will post news when more details are revealed!
