Celebrity Weddings: Oscar Leung and Tina Lok
Oscar Leung (梁烈唯) and his girlfriend of eleven years, Tina Lok, welcomed the New Year by tying the knot on January 1, 2014. Looking forward to starting a family together, Oscar and Tina are ready to have children immediately.
The coupled supported each other through their roughest years and vowed to get married as soon as they saved enough money. Oscar is highly appreciative of Tina, who helped him during his lowest financial points and his bout with bipolar disorder. The couple was spotted shopping for a new home last summer and applied for a marriage license in October. With Oscar’s rise in popularity and income, the couple is finally able to fulfill their marriage dreams.
When Oscar saw Tina in her bridal gown, he was deeply moved and memories of their dating relationship over the years flashed before his eyes. Oscar was extremely nervous during the exchange of vows, “Although I appeared calm, my hand was shaking when I said my vows. Someone even shouted to ask me to still my hand.” Although Oscar did not cry, Tina was unable to hold back tears when she saw her old friends.
With many good friends in the entertainment industry, Oscar’s wedding was attended by Eric Tsang (曾志偉), Chilam Cheung (張智霖), Anita Yuen (袁詠儀), Michael Miu (苗僑偉) and wife Jamie Chik (戚美珍), Power Chan (陳國邦) and wife Mimi Lo (羅敏莊), Nancy Wu (胡定欣), Felix Wong (黃日華), Raymond Wong (黃浩然), Virginia Lok (樂易玲), Sharon Chan (陳敏之), Yumiko Cheng (鄭希怡), Emme Wong (黃伊汶), Calvin Choi (蔡一智) and his wife. Since Tina is Cherie Ying’s (應采兒) assistant, Cherie was also present and ecstatic over the couple’s wedding.
“I was very moved to see so many people who loved me present. Many of them watched me grow up, such as Michael Miu, Jamie Chik, Chilam Cheung, Eric Tsang, and others,” Oscar said.
Anita Yuen offered her blessings to the newlyweds, “In your married life, there’s no need for it to be thrilling or dramatic; I hope that you continue your slow and steady love!”
Aaron Kwok (郭富城) issued his congratulations through Sina Weibo, “Congratulations Oscar! I wish you both happiness and forever intertwined hearts.”
Oscar thanked all his friends’ well wishes and promised to cherish his life together with Tina.

I happened to read an entertainment magazine at a hair salon today. It was reported that Oscar decided to marry his girlfriend, Tina Lok, because she is pregnant with Oscar’s baby.
Most celebrities get married only these days because they “get trapped” with babies. A new trend of getting married nowadays!
To be fair to Oscar, he had already said many times how much he wanted to marry her with a wedding he can afford to give her. And they had been dating for so many years. If there is a baby, it just hastens the inevitable and not to cover up anything. Come on, be fair to Oscar for once. He just wanted to give his BB’s BB a beautiful wedding.
