Nicknamed “Face Genius” for his perfect looks, Kpop boy group ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo has been riding high on the popularity radar, and even veteran Carol Cheng (鄭裕玲) could not help but praise him for being “very very handsome” when she attended his meet-the-fan session in Hong Kong last year. Making headlines again, Cha Eun Woo is reported to have splurged $4.9 billion won on a new penthouse unit in Cheongdam-dong, located in the glitzy Gangnam district.
According to Korean press, the True Beauty star paid for a top floor unit of the high-end Ville Polaris in cash, sans bank loan. His luxury unit is reportedly 1,780 square feet with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, offering panoramic views overlooking the south side of Yeongdong Bridge over the Han River. With only one apartment unit per floor, privacy is said to be the main selling point of the Ville Polaris. Rumored to be among his neighbors are actress Park Min-young (朴敏英) and the daughter of the former president of Korea’s largest chain bookstore, Kyobo Bookstore.
