Charmaine Sheh and Raymond Lam to Film “Modern Dynasty 2”

Airing last year, Modern Dynasty <家族榮耀> starring Tavia Yeung (楊茜堯), Chilam Cheung (張智霖), and Raymond Wong (黃浩然) was a big success in China and Hong Kong. Producer Tommy Leung (製梁家) confirmed Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) and Raymond Lam (林峯) will star in the spinoff series, which revolves around the power struggles in a rich family. As it has been nine years since the duo worked in Line Walker <使徒行者>, their new collaboration is sure to spawn sizzling new sparks!

Decked with familiar TVB stars, Modern Dynasty 2 also features Him Law (羅子溢), Kelly Cheung (張曦雯), Toby Leung (梁靖琪), and a cameo appearance by Gallen Lo (羅嘉良). The drama was supposed to start filming at the beginning of this year, but was delayed due to uncertainty over the female lead.

Yesterday, Charmaine confirmed her participation in Modern Dynasty 2 and is currently studying the script. It is said that Tommy had reached out to Charmaine early on, but she already had filming commitments for Chinese variety shows and TVB The Queen of News <新聞女王>. Since completing the latter , she is free to start filming for Modern Dynasty 2!

Charmaine has already built strong chemistry with former costars Raymond and Gallen, and looks forward to filming with her close friend Toby. “I’m very happy to be able to work with so many friends this time.
