Charmaine Sheh, Kevin Cheng, & Tavia Yeung in South Korea
Rumored couple Charmaine Sheh Si Man and Kevin Cheng Ka Wing, as well as Tavia Yeung Yi represented TVB and performed in Korea earlier. The trio wore their Tang costumes from “Beyond the Realm of Conscience” and appeared on CMB’s (Central Multi Broadcasting) 8th Annual “Kiss Youth Music Competition.”
Charmaine, Tavia, and Kevin were the only overseas guest performers at the competition. Kevin sang a song which was adapted from the Korean song “I Believe,” while Charmaine sang the theme song from “Jewel in the Palace. The audience applauded loudly. Afterward, the trio attended the “2009 South Korean Digital and Cable Television Show,” hoping to increase the Korean audience’s awareness for TVB series. They promoted for “Beyond the Realm of Conscience” and accepted media interviews.
The “Kiss Youth Music Competition” is South Korea’s largest youth singing competition. Each year, it attracts several thousands of youths aged between 14 to 22 year olds to compete. This year, TVB sent 20-year-old Shen Lou to represent Hong Kong in the competition. She sang a “天下無雙” and was ultimately won the “MBC Plus Premium Award” and “2009 CMB kiss Youth Music Competition Special Merit Award.”

Jayne: A lot of promotion for “Beyond the Realm of Conscience,” but personally I prefer modern dramas over ancient dramas. There’s a lot of hype building up to “Beyond the Realm of Conscience” thus far.
