Charmaine Sheh Shi Man Charmaine Sheh & Kevin Cheng Promote ‘Beyond the Realm of Conscience’
“Beyond the Realm of Conscience” cast members, Charmaine Sheh, Kevin Cheng, Moses Chan, Tavia Yeung, Michelle Yim, and Susanna Kwan promoted the series at the International Hong Kong Entertainment Expo.
Despite rumored couple, Kevin Cheng and Charmaine Sheh, filming “Beyond the Realm of Conscience” together, there was very little news of the pair. Only recently did rumors surface that Kevin ignored Charmaine on the set.
Charmaine explained, “This is due to the fact that Kevin and I do not share many scenes together. The plot of ‘Beyond the Realm of Conscience’ focuses on the concubines’ conflict instead. Hopefully there will not be too much negative news.”
Did Kevin ignore Charmaine? “I did not read the tabloids. We did not actively try to avoid each other. We are working like we normally would.” Kevin did not pay attention to the tabloids, as the news is different each time. “Perhaps the media’s attention switched to other subject coverage recently. However, as an artist, I am not afraid to be written about in the future since it is expected.”
Moses Chan praised the character design and serious production in “Beyond the Realm of Conscience,” which was able to attract the overseas market and interested vendors. Moses indicated that there are 40 concubines in the series. Each one of the women were all beautiful.
Reporters teased that Moses Chan was dreaming like Wai Siu Bo, the main character of “Duke of Mount Deer.” Moses laughed, “Yes I wish too. It would be wonderful if I can star in a comedy version of ‘Playboy.'”
Reporters asked whether Bernice Liu should be part of the cast? “No problem. The important part is to have at least 10 to 20 different types of women: long hair, short hair, tough, and delicate types too!”
