Charmaine Sheh’s New TVB Legal Drama “Themis”
Three-time Best Actress winner Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼), who has starred in over 50 hit dramas during her 27-year career, continues to shine as she approaches 50. Following her success in The Queen of News <新聞女王>, she is taking on a new challenge by playing a lawyer for the first time in Themis <正義女神 Themis>. The first teaser trailer has finally been released – even without dialogue, her intense gaze alone exudes authority.
Produced by Chong Shu-kai (鍾澍佳), the legal drama Themis began filming in November last year and recently wrapped. The series stars Charmaine Sheh, Patrick Tam (譚耀文), Alice Chan (陳煒), Kalok Chan (周嘉洛), Benz Hui (許紹雄), Mark Ma (馬貫東), Joman Chiang (蔣祖曼), and Joey Thye (戴祖儀). On February 20, the drama’s official Weibo profile dropped a one-minute teaser, featuring Charmaine making a striking entrance. Dressed in a sharp dark gray suit, with her hair neatly tied up and wearing glasses, Charmaine walks confidently into the courtroom.
In the trailer, Sheh stands at the center of the courtroom, staring thoughtfully at a wooden chair before turning her gaze toward the judge’s elevated bench. With no dialogue, her piercing expression alone creates an overwhelming sense of authority. Fans are already eagerly anticipating the drama’s release, Though the official broadcast date has yet to be announced.
