Chilam Cheung Celebrates 42nd Birthday in Style
Chilam Cheung (張智霖) turned 42 on August 27 and had a birthday fit for Captain Cool.
After achieving immense popularity with his role in Triumph in the Skies 2 <衝上雲霄 II>, Chilam has seen an increase in income and immediately put his paychecks to good use by purchasing a new home and a new car. On August 27, Chilam showed off his new toy as he and wife Anita Yuen (袁詠儀) stepped out to celebrate his special day. The couple was seen heading to Tsim Sha Tsui in Chilam’s brand new, $2.5 million HKD silver Mercedes-Benz sports car.
Despite wearing sunglasses, Chilam and Anita immediately attracted attention as they headed to a local Japanese restaurant. Many female fans called out to Chilam and asked for photos. Chilam happily fulfilled all the requests and snapped photos with each of his fans. When the owner of a nearby noodle shop discovered it was Chilam’s birthday, he offered the star a fresh cup of soy milk as a gift.
Later, Chilam and Anita finally made their way to the restaurant to meet up with friends for a meal. Reporters caught up with the couple afterwards and asked Chilam about his celebration plans. Chilam said, “We don’t have anything big planned for tonight. I had already celebrated earlier with friends, and ate many birthday cakes. We were just celebrating with my soccer buddies.” When asked if wife Anita and son Morton (張慕童) had given him anything, Chilam replied, “Morton is not awake yet. He hasn’t done anything [for my birthday]. Nothing from my wife either. I have not been surprised yet.”
Although Anita may not have big plans in mind, she did wish him a happy birthday publicly on Weibo, and posted a photo of Chilam driving his new sports car. Wearing sunglasses with rolled-up sleeves, Chilam looked as suave and charming as Captain Cool as he navigated the vehicle in its red leather seat. Chilam posted a birthday photo as well, looking thoughtful and artistic as he stared into the space above. He shared his birthday wish for this year – to never gain weight no matter how much he eats. Chilam’s friends also filled his Weibo wall with birthday messages, each sharing a photo taken together with the youthful-looking star.

Wow both of their eyelids . I wish Anita would take some time to dress up. Chilam is so cute. Anyone have the model of the car?
I think that is one of Anita’s best traits. She just wants to be simple and does not feel that she always has to get all dressed up just to impress others. Maybe that is one of the traits about her that Chilam likes???

Nah, i think her eyelids are natural. When she first started, she already have them.
I think her eyelids are natural too. I have seen her ever since the beginning of her career and she looks the same to me. Also, she is very low maintenance and does not even wear make up outside of work so you really wonder if she would even go through the fuss of getting any PS or enhancements.
I don’t think Anita has had surgery on her eyelids before. As far as I remember, her eyes were her best features. Very big and expressive.
