Chilam Cheung Encourages Anita Yuen to Sing at His Concert

As brand ambassadors for a moon cake brand, Chilam Cheung (張智霖) and Joe Chen (陳喬恩) were in Shanghai recently to attend a promotional event.

Chilam and Joe behaved intimately on stage and fed each other moon cake. The pair were so convincing as a couple that the host joked, “You guys are so close together. Aren’t you afraid that Mrs. Cheung [Anita Yuen (袁詠儀)] will get jealous?” Chilam confidently responded, “Of course not! When you’re on stage, it’s all about delivering the effect.”

After attending the event, Chilam will remain in Shanghai to prepare for his upcoming concert, and Anita will join him as well. “Of course Anita will come with me! She loves Shanghai very much. Shanghai has so many shopping options. I am going to make her sing a song too.”

At an earlier concert show in Hong Kong, Anita had also joined Chilam on stage and performed a song. However, the 44-year-old actress sang out of tune and appeared embarrassed. Chilam remained supportive of his wife and expressed, “You have to pick yourself up where you fell. During the first show of my concert in Hong Kong, she messed up a little. Hopefully, she can take this chance to mend any regrets!” He continued to joked, “She’s been practicing at home, but that’s useless, because you need talent! Gee, I am so mean for saying that. Actually, she is very hard working!”
