Christine Wu and William Luk Are Getting Divorce

After tying the knot with William Luk (陸漢洋) in 2018, Christine Kuo (苟芸慧) stepped away from the entertainment industry, focusing her time instead on home life, side businesses, charities, and personal hobbies. Despite marrying into wealth, Christine’s marriage often came under scrutiny with divorce rumors swirling continuously year after year.

Rumored to have moved out of their love nest in 2021, Christine and William allegedly reconciled in 2023. However, Christine recently announced that she will be making a comeback to the entertainment industry and admitted that she is going through divorce.

Christine responded to media inquiries, “In April, I will be filming a commercial. I’m hoping for a smooth process.” On whether TVB reached out to resign her, the 41-year-old beauty queen said, “I’m not that ambitious because my schedule is quite busy. Perhaps in the future, I will consider filming dramas. Right now, I’ll focus on smaller projects like commercials.”

When asked where in the divorce process she is in, Christine admitted, “It’s almost complete. I think the paperwork still needs a bit more time to process.” Semi-retired after marrying William and now having to work again, would Christine be receiving any alimony? Christine replied, “[Netizens] are curious about such things? I’m thankful for their concern, but this is more personal. I’ll deal with this on my own in private slowly. I have some investments myself, so I’m okay right now. I’m not too worried.”

  1. She a beauty past pageant queen who had a thyroid disease and got married to someone not very attractive during her career lows. He’s rich and now wants younger…I hate to say this, but she married down at first and now, he wants to marry up (meaning younger for him)

    1. I think their marriage had cracks from the onset regarding children. He’s reluctant at best, refuse at worst. She was getting on in age and needed to find a decent partner to have kids. He’s unfortunately not the right one, though.

That’s okay. She did the right thing and had her eggs frozen. And going by the divorce proceedings, it sounds like she will get by with some financial allocations from herself and probably some form of financial compensation from him. Marrying into money usually means there’s prenup involved…

  2. She’s not exactly a hot beauty catch for any dude, and only a has-been ex TVB actress………As for him, regardless of how much money he has, still looks like a douche-bag……….So, both are better off without the other.
