“Come Home Love: Lo and Behold” Cast Celebrates Their Success
The Come Home Love: Lo and Behold <愛·回家之開心速遞> cast attended a banquet to celebrate their success in ratings for their drama and surpassing 1,129 episodes. Over 50 cast members attended including Lau Dan (劉丹), Koni Lui (呂慧儀), Joyce Tang (滕麗名), Mandy Lam (林淑敏), and Jack Hui (許家傑). As few TVB executives including Catherine Tsang (曾勵珍), and Virginia Lok (樂易玲) were there as well.
Lau Dan has enjoyed filming Come Home Love since the beginning. He hopes that the show will continue for a long time and break the record established by A Kindred Spirit <真情>, which ended with 1128 episodes. Catherine Tsang shared that Come Home Love will likely surpass A Kindred Spirit in length, as they already approved filming through the 720th episode.
Joyce knows that she will at least film till December, while Koni hopes to film till 2020.
During the event, Lau Dan revealed that his son, Hawick Lau (劉愷威), has returned to Hong Kong for Chinese New Year. Lau Dan said, “He said he wants to come to the banquet, but he isn’t part of the cast, so he didn’t come. In terms of filming Come Home Love with Hawick, I don’t think he has time, but I will ask.”
Mandy and Jack’s Storyline Grows More Complicated
As the most popular couple in Come Home Love: Lo and Behold, Mandy and Jack’s love arc in the series brought up the recent ratings, which broke through 30 points. Mandy joked, “Income has definitely gotten a lot better with the commercials, but I know we can be even better.” Jack responded, “Agree with the income statement.. I’ve been in the industry for more than 10 years so I’m prepared to hand out red pockets to the staff.”
Jack’s character will continue to mature, as he opens a bar and hopes to close the financial status between Mandy and himself. Meanwhile, a new character portrayed by Strawberry Yeung (楊玉梅) will cause some “ripples” for Jack. Mandy said the addition of Strawberry into the cast won’t affect her screen time, as the show will continue following her love triangle with Jack and Jackson Lai (黎振燁). Mandy praised Jackson, “He’s doing really well [in the show]. Hope the three of us can continue to entertain viewers.”

I finally watched the episodes with Jack in it. They are a funny couple. Althought Ctone home love isn’t very realistic it’s entertaining enough. Hope Mandy and Jack have a good ending in the series!
Strawberry Yeung muahhahaha. Maybe Jack should change his name to Jackfruit.
