“Crossing Boundaries” Starring Vincent Wong Holds Costume Fitting
An upcoming TVB drama starring Vincent Wong (王浩信), Crossing Boundaries <踩過界>, held a costume fitting press conference yesterday at TVB Studios. The legal-crime drama stars Vincent Wong as a blind lawyer whose fight for justice leads him to become a target of elimination by gangs. Despite his character’s popularity with women, he shares a strong bromance with Owen Cheung (張振朗).
The cast’s unique appearances took the most interest at yesterday’s press conference. Vincent wore milky white contacts to look blind, but he said this is up for modification. Sisley Choi (蔡思貝), who portrays Vincent’s paralegal and protector, wore a pair of ugly buck teeth and has a scar across her eye. Ali Lee (李佳芯) will be starring as a young judge, who takes on a completely different personality after she sheds her judicial robes. Tracy Chu (朱千雪) was not at the press conference, but she will be guest starring as Vincent’s ex-girlfriend, a doctor.
As many of the female characters on the show will take an interest in Vincent, reporters asked the actor if his wife, Yoyo Chen (陳自瑤), approved the script. Vincent said, “She knows I play someone who is blind. There’s nothing to worry about.” Vincent added that he will not have intimate scenes on the show anyway.
In regards to the frequent use of contacts for his character, Vincent said, “It’s just the testing stage now. We may end up using darker-colored one. I am worried that the long use of contacts will dry out my eyes, but I’ll watch out. I will wear sunglasses on the show, so I’ll get to rest my eyes then.”
According to Vincent, Ali plays a character who is “very refined in the outside, but opened in the inside.” Ali expressed that her role, a judge, likes to go to clubs and have one night stands. “I expect myself to show a lot of skin,” she said. “I’ve been trying on different styles to see which looks best on me.”
Toby Chan (陳庭欣), on the other hand, will play a trans woman. Her transgender journey will be one of the many cases on the show. Toby said the idea came from William Chak (翟威廉) and Jack Hui (許家傑), adding that she feels grateful for the opportunity to take up the challenge.

Hmmmmm….. so Ali going back to her usual sleep around role. Actually, dual personalities doesn’t have to involve sleeping around. She can be neurotic funny and outgoing, but firm and straight when she is a judge.
Where’s Gilbert?
