Crystal Fung Doesn’t Think She’s Sexy
TVB rising star Crystal Fung (馮盈盈) is ready to give everything she’s got for her career.
Currently filming Lau Kar-ho’s (劉家豪) new TVB drama Sinister Beings <逆天奇案>, the 25-year-old former Miss Hong Kong winner attracted the attention of passersby as she shot her scene in the middle of Lan Kwai Fong.
Crystal, who plays the hacker Ana, gets harassed by a foreigner as she attempted to walk through Lan Kwai Fong in her drunken stupor. Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), who plays the lead character Sam Sir, goes to her rescue but is fiercely rejected by her, and the two argue in the middle of the street.
The 2016 Miss Hong Kong winner is on the list of breakout stars for the year. Starring alongside Vincent Wong (王浩信) and Jonathan Cheung (張頴康) in the TVB anniversary drama The Man Who Kills Trouble <解決師>, Crystal has been making headlines for her bold attitude towards her image and career—her shower sex scene with Jonathan Cheung has definitely caught the attention of the Internet, opening up new windows of opportunity for Crystal.
With her sexier appearances as of recent, reporters asked Crystal if she would have to brief her boyfriend before every intimate shoot. Crystal has been dating her non-celebrity boyfriend, Martin Chung (鍾文浩), for quite some time. Martin is a doctor, and has been living with Crystal since the past month.
“Not necessary,” she said. “My boyfriend wouldn’t really ask me questions about work.” Asking Crystal if she would be interested in pursuing the sex icon route, she said, “I don’t think I’m worthy! Haha! In my opinion, being sexy doesn’t necessary mean you have to be revealing. You have to have a good figure and look fit. You have to have confidence. I have been working hard at the gym!”
Sinister Begins also stars Ben Wong (黃智賢), Rosina Lam (林夏薇), Moon Lau (劉佩玥), and Jonathan Cheung.
